My life's work must be centered on helping others as I have a deep need in my spirit for enabling people to become the best individuals they can be as well as positively contributing to their lives. I most recently worked with an agency that provides care givers for senior needs in order to give those individuals the ability to live in their own homes for as long as they possibly can. I took several training classes during my time with them that covered companion care, dementia and Alzheimer care, hospice interaction, and helping to assist with personal care needs and Activities of Daily Learning implementation. I graduated from Mary Baldwin College in Virginia earning my Bachelors degree in Social Work. As I've wanted to continue in the elder care field I took several courses during my studies which directly related to working with aging individuals and life changes. What I'd love to show you is that I am a hard worker, strong in the knowledge of my field, an advocate for those I can assist and a person who genuinely loves to be a part of the lives of those I am given the privilege of assisting. I am new to the Idaho area but not to providing quality care with as much compassion and respect as I would give my own family.
