Melissa C. Care Companion in Aurora, IL 60504

Hi my name is Melissa Cameron I am 36 years old and I live in Aurora. I recently left my office job to have more time with my children. I have 3 son's ages 5, 7 and 13. They are all in school so I am looking to get in the companion field part time during the day or on weekends. I have many years of personal companion care but no work related years. My husband had a heart transplant and I helped him with all his needs from medication, insulin shots, blood pressure and blood sugar motoring. I also kept a schedule and took care of all his doctors appointments as well as taking him to each one to be sure I knew how I could care for him best. I lost my husband due to the transplant failing after 5 years in 2013. I miss him dearly and it took me some time but I realized I truly enjoyed being his companion per say and taking care of his needs. My father has muscular dystrophy and I also enjoy my visits with him as I am always needed for something. My great aunt passed a few years back, she had dementia and wouldn't eat. I was the only one the could get her to let me feed her. I have a true comparison for people and really enjoy the company of the 60 plus community.
