I have spent roughly fifteen years caring for elderly. I have worked with those who have suffered a debilitating stroke and who have had partial paralysis due to the stroke. As well as COPD, Congestive Heart Failure, Pneumonia, and broken limbs. I help those who are under my care to see the good things and to keep them laughing. I believe that too often elderly are seen as a burden and I want to remind them that they are worthy of kindness and that they are incredible people who have shaped the world we live in today.
