The joy that I recieved in return of caring for them and allowing them to have independence and dignity showed me that taking care of elderly is a truly rewarding experience. The compassion and care I gave was what I would want in return. I am independent, patient, and responsible, and dedicated to their needs. I am very pleasant to be around, have a great sense of humor, and bring out the best in people. I think having a positive and forward attitude helps me and the family I work for. Caring for the elderly is more than a job for me. It is building a trusting and caring relationship with understanding all individual needs.
