I'm a nurses assistant and I'm CPR certified. Along with my CNA certificate I also have a training certificate from Hospice of Illinois, special training certificates for: Fall Prevention, Personal Care, Fire Safety and Infection Control. I volunteered for Hospice of Illinois for 3 years. I have extensive experience working in private homes & nursing homes; I worked in the activity dept. in nursing homes. I did haircuts, conducted in room sessions with terminal patients: did manicures, & outings, exercise, range of motion, sensory stimulation, reality orientation and massage. Also, went with residents to Dr. appointments, conducted special events; this applies in private homes as well. And, I have experience with Dementia & Alzheimer's Disease. I have been a nurturer for most of my adult life; I love people & life. I'm good at what I do because my heart is in what I'm doing.
