I have college education (health related) , but last 10 years I home schooled our children, and worked as a care taker/companion for the elderly people along the way. I enjoy communicating with older people, they are not stressed and rushed by everyday life, and they have a lot of reminiscence. I enjoy both little routines my clients get used to, and varied assignments (call repair people or figure out the online refills for diabetes supplies - you name it). I am energetic and active, do not mind to do little house keeping, and ENJOY cooking and baking! My medical background helps as far as medical-related issues, but I will go for whatever my client likes (for instance, visiting consignment shops looking for rear decorative items, or trips to plant nurseries to decorate backyard).
Relationships with my clients are very meaningful to me as I do not have my extended family around.
