Samantha has cared for my two daughters, ages 5 and 7, for a month now. I have been very impressed with her work. Having discussed my parenting philosophies and concerns, Samantha has supervised and looked after my children with the same attention to discipline, homework, activities, and meal options that I would provide myself. She has been great about keeping me informed as to how the children are doing while in her care. And I appreciate that she has been planning activities for the girls, things that I don't have time for myself (as a single, working dad). Last week they carved a pumpkin and enjoyed a special Halloween party under Samantha's watch. Thanks!
Samantha is a great babysitter. We have found her to be reliable, conscientious, and nurturing. Our boys look forward to having her come over to babysit and really enjoy their time with her. We highly recommend her.
Initially, we believed Samantha to be a reliable caretaker for our 3-year-old daughter, who loved her. Yet last Saturday she show her true colors in all their technicolor terror.
We had hired her again to pick up our daughter from pre-school. After a week she abruptly quit because she said she "got another job" and wanted to know "when we could pick up the car seat and keys today because ""Sunday" didn't work for her because she would "be in church all day." We did not hear from her again until Wednesday and then she simply let herself in and dropped off the car seat and placed the keys on top of it.
Because of Samantha's unprofessional behavior, my wife had to miss a day of work and Ciara missed a day of pre-school because we needed to arrange back-up care since there was still no one to pick her up from pre-school. Since we are still searching for sitters, we do not know how long our daughter will be out. Sadly, the person this affects the most negatively is our daughter.
Please do not hire Samantha to care for anyone of any age. What is most frightening is that she mentioned she planned to open her own day-care center next year.
Samantha is a wonderful babysitter. I have a toddler and newborn and she was at ease with both. Since my toddler was a little shy, she was very patient with him. After my husband I returned from our outing, she went through everything with us. Explaining what went on and kept us up to date on the needs of the children. We felt completely comfortable leaving our 2 sons in her care. I hope to use her services again.
Samantha is an excellent babysitter. She is warm and caring and my kids love her. She has been great about our schedules and I trust her driving my children. I highly recommend her.
Samantha is a fabulous nanny/babysitter! She is great at interacting with my son.. and he really enjoys her! She is on time and is a great communicator.. I can always count on her! She is a sweet person and provides great care!!
