I’ve been working in the home care business for going on five years. The best part about my job is the relationships I’ve made with some of the most amazing people. Connecting with your client is key to maintaining a successful business relationship aligning with care management and client satisfaction. Housekeeping, hygiene, assist with shower, laundry, transportation services, meal prep, medication management etc. are some of the basics. I have some experience caring for a quadriplegic. Iv assisted with transfer Lyfts, routine catheter care, manage bowel care, treated and maintained pressure sores correctly along with consistent reposition/ rotation. Transferring from wheelchair and back. Grooming, showering, shaving, dressing, all while striving for the best care possible. As demanding as the job is at times, patience, understanding and empathy are some of the best qualities about myself.
