My senior year of high school I was a teachers assistant for my former 1st grade teacher and helped her a lot with her students! This was for school credit and I took much pride in helping the students succeed! Lots of times while in class the teacher utilized me as a way of helping out students who weren’t exactly where they needed to be. This involved tutoring them, helping with assignments, and playing fun yet educational math and reading games!! Lots of times when the students were also making special projects, one at a time the teacher would send them to the table to work on their crafts with me. I would start the day off with the students and then return back to school in order to make it to the next class! I really enjoyed starting my day off with the students and they assured that every morning was a good one.
