Experience as a Youth Care Specialist for Marryville Academy. Provided life skills for girls 13 to 20 who were neglected, abused or both in a private residential home setting.

Duties included: Documentation of all procedures on specialized PC applications, consisting of: Billings, Medication Counts, Incident Reports and Correspondents, Health, Law, Family.

Prepared meals within health and safety regulations, domestic house cleaning and laundry. Assisted youth with routine duties.

Processed goals with the clients according to their Individual Treatment Plans. Encouraged positive learning and functional directives. Assisted with events on campus as well as day trips. Provided transportation when necessary.

All functions were performed within policy and procedure guidelines. Ongoing training and certifications were consistent with the standards of the state program.

As an Art major I enjoyed working on creative projects with the youth. Such activities provided priceless memories.

I'm seeking a meaningful position as a Nanny. I enjoy challenges and strive to uphold the highest standards of care to the uniqueness of each individual.
