Hello Families!

My name is Cary and I am a current care companion to an 84 year old female with early stages of dementia. I mostly work for the family during the late evening times (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. I assist with transitioning from walking to sitting to laying down. I also help with medicine management and serving her meals. My main purpose is to keep her company by talking, watching game shows, eating together, listening to music and simply keeping each other active and alert while keeping her safe.

My experience stems back to when my father fell
ill with a brain aneurysm and was bed ridden for 10 years. I became his caretaker and went through so much with him. I am definitely self taught I would say.

I can thoroughly recommend Cary for your childcare needs!

Cary was our family's after-school care provider from August to October 2021. She was responsible for picking up our three children (ages 12, 10, and 8) from school, preparing a snack, getting them ready, and driving them to their after-school activities. We parted ways only due to a change in my employment status.

Here's what you can expect if you hire Cary as your sitter or nanny:
o Trustworthy and Reliable: Cary ensured the kids were picked up from school and made it to their after-school activities on time and safely. With Cary, I never had to worry about getting a call from the school about the kids not getting picked up.
o Fun and Engaging: Our children had loads of fun with Cary. They worked on puzzles, played card games, went to the park, arcade, movies, etc.
o Highly Organized: Cary is very organized and a great planner. She monitored the kids' school calendar, knew the teacher's in-service days (and was available to help), and also let us know of her own planned time-off well in advance.
