Hi! I’m Angelina, a doctoral student in Occupational Therapy at UIC with a strong background in rehabilitation and senior care. I recently completed a full-time placement in a hospital rehab unit, where I worked hands-on with adults recovering from strokes, brain injuries, and surgeries—helping them regain independence with daily tasks, movement, and memory support.

Before that, I worked as a Life Enrichment Facilitator in a senior living community, where I led fun, meaningful activities tailored to residents’ abilities and needs in assisted living and memory support units. I also have experience as a rehab aide, supporting therapists and ensuring clients feel safe, motivated, and cared for while completing rehabilitation exercises.

As an OT student, I bring a unique perspective to care. I’m trained to adapt routines to meet each person’s needs, promote independence, and create a calm, engaging environment.
