I grew up with both grandmas in my house. One of them used a walker/wheelchair and I would assist her going up and down stairs. My other grandma had Alzheimer’s and I would read books to her, watch TV with her, came up with fun ways to remind her to take her medicine, made lunch and snacks for her, and overall was a caregiver daily for about 12 years to my grandparents.
