In 2011 I complete a CNA training course through ProVision training services, from there I graduated top of my class and gained employment at a small privately owned nursing home,Pleasant View Lodge. I began my employment as a dietary aide where I helped to prepare resident meals according to their needs and then graduated to working on the nursing floor as a CNA. I also assisted in activities and house keeping. I ended my employment there to work for a family that I knew as a caregiver for their grandfather who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. For them I was employed for 2 years. I would go to his home, assist him with everyday activities and hygiene as well as maintaining his home. I then switch career paths to baking and began a 5 year journey for a donut company called Square Donuts. Starting as a packer for orders I ended my time re-titled as Baking manager with lead experience in all departments. I then spent a small amount of time between working at the humane society and an assisted living facility. I have an 8 year old daughter as well as 3 step-daughters and together we spend a lot of our time outside or creating along with our 4 dogs.I believe that when you are looking for someone’s help with either home, a pet, or a family member that the care you receive be personal and genuine. Going the extra mile to simply help make someone’s life easier if not at least happier is something we should all consider in the things we do about our daily lives and should be second nature. I believe the biggest attention should be invested in the smallest of details and that is what I intend to deliver.
