My name is Angel and I'm seeking a position in companion care. I left the workforce 12 years ago to take care of my mother after she suffered a stroke, leaving her with mobility issues. She was left partially paralyzed on her left side, so I meal prepped, maintained her schedule of meds, groomed and dressed her and provided activities to keep her engaged and enjoying her life. I am a former pastor's wife/worship leader as well as a licensed hairstylist. Over the last few years I have continued with a couple of my elderly hair clients, visiting and offering my services in their home, but as my mom's condition worsened with a diagnosis of cancer over the past couple years I discontinued that practice. I have always enjoyed visiting with people and offering encouragement and joy whenever and wherever I can! I have a deep sense of compassion and care for other's and can sympathize with those going through challenging times.
I play guitar and ukulele, crochet and enjoy all sorts of crafting. I also really enjoy cooking for others!
I, currently, am involved with picking up my 8 year old twin granddaughters from the school bus 2-3 days a week for after school care and would like to continue that but have open availability all other times.
At this point in my life, I am looking to do work that is rewarding and fulfilling. I want to make a difference in others lives!
