All my caregiver experience involves family and friends.I helped my Mom and Dad when they were very sick with meal preparation, medication assistance, housekeeping and transportation. I helped my boyfriend when he needed help. I visited him at all the rehab and hospitals and nursing homes he was at. I took him to doctor visits. I managed his medications. I did his grocery shopping.I washed his clothes. I provided his meals while he was at home. While he was at the different assisted living places and hospitals I maintained his home.I also had an elderly aunt who I loved visiting and helping her with household duties and errands.She needed someone who would twice a week water the plants at her husband's cemetery plot. I very much enjoyed socializing with her. I would take her grocery and clothes shopping.
