My name is Alaina Rain. I am an animal and child lover! I have 1 dog. His name is Cody and he is a miniature Australian Shepard and will be turning 3 years old this year! He also loves kids. For my education, I went to Circle High school, then Bulter Community College for my associates degree, the Wichita State university for my Chemistry degree. While I was at butler I took a few CNA classes in hopes to be a nurse. Although, when I transfered to WSU, I found my love for Chemistry and changed my degree to that. My long term boyfriend has two children of his own we get on the weekends. I have been helping raise them ever since they were born. His youngest child just turned 2 a few months ago. Even before we started dating we were best friends and I love his children as if they were my own. I am a soon to be Auntie as well. My older sisters due date is coming up in march and I can not wait to get to be an auntie for the first time! Some of my hobbies include taking my dog and the kids to the park or on fun nature walks. We also love doing outdoors activities like kayaking, skiing, swimming at the YMCA and hiking! I love to travel as often as I get the chance to. One of our main destinations is Breckinridge, CO. There we can do all the outdoor activities our little hearts desire! I am a strong believer in constantly educating your mind whether that be in school or outside of school. Along with the core subjects of the arts, education on real life is extremely important. Such as cooking, balancing a budget(managing money) and so on… Right now our oldest (8 years) is actually really interested in opening his own bank account and getting a debit card, so before we do that, we are teaching him all the little things he needs to know about money. I have been a sever for many years at a few restaurants here in this town. I have found that having that background has made me really good at cleaning up messes, so household chores are nothing compared to cleaning up a restaurant after a dinner rush.
