Hello, my name is Madelyn! A little bit about me: I am a student at Oral Roberts University studying International Social Work. I hope to use this degree to work with refugees one day! My mother has been an occupational therapist my whole life, so growing up, I was at the nursing home constantly. I would read to my elderly friends, play bingo and games with them, and push their wheelchairs down the halls. All this to say, I have spent my whole life being a companion to the elderly and they hold such a special place in my heart! I am taking a CNA course this summer and will be working at a nursing facility in Hutchinson, so I will have the skills for the role of a companion.
