Hello! I have experience working as a patient care technician on the neurology floor of a hospital for 3 years. I cared for a majority of elderly patients and am familiar with the care of stroke recovery and dementia. As a PCT, I was responsible for ambulatory care, feeding, bathing, and comforting presence. I also assisted the nurses with various medical needs. Additionally, I also volunteered at a hospice center providing a soothing presence to the patients there (reading, listening to music, watching movies, etc).
