Taylor’s Bio
My grandmother, who passed away this past August, moved to an assisted living home closer to my parents and myself. I spent the last year of her life taking care of her, and doing whatever I could. I took a year off of school so I could focus solely on her, her health and well-being. She was the last grandparent I had left, so caring for seniors is extremely close to my heart. I also am a certified nursing assistant and have worked in memory care facilities, as well as at Eastern State Hospital and assisted living homes.
When I did my clinicals in nursing school, I was offered a job the first day at the facility because they were so impressed with my ability to connect with older individuals.
I would love to, not only assist someone with daily tasks, but also find a companion to talk to and have that adult figure in my life that I miss having so much.
