I’ve always had a deep desire to help people, ever since I was a child. Being a caregiver gives me the opportunity to make a real difference in someone’s day—whether it’s through emotional support, daily care, or simply being a consistent presence. I love building meaningful connections with clients and their families, and it’s fulfilling to know I’m helping someone feel seen, safe, and valued.

I’ve worked as a caregiver at Belmont Village Senior Assisted Living, where I provide daily support to elderly residents. Before that, I gained experience working in customer service, food service, and healthcare-adjacent roles that strengthened my patience, compassion, and problem-solving skills. My experience also includes working at Home Instead, where I assisted clients with personal care, companionship, mobility support, and transportation.

I am skilled in using Hoyer lifts and other patient transfer tools to safely assist clients. I create personalized care plans and help with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, meal prep, and light housekeeping. I’m also bilingual (fluent in Arabic, Hausa, and English), which helps me connect with clients from diverse backgrounds. I’m trained in compassionate care, clear communication, and health monitoring, and I always aim to make each client feel respected, supported, and comfortable.
