Molly’s Bio
I have a big heart for people young and old, and the furry kind too! I currently provide companionship for an elderly gentleman who just needs a friend to have conversations with one day a week. I do help with medication filling of his pillbox and notify him of any refills needed.
I recently spent the end of life transition of a companion who had stage 4 liver cancer. I started as a appointment transport/shopper/light housekeeper and developed a kinship with her as her disease progressed. I witnessed many medical emergencies and spent many night in the hospital with her. Her daughter is an urgent care Dr locally and with her guidance I was trained in many tasks related to her cancer management. I started with these clients may of 2021. Before that I was a childcare provider for children ages birth to 13 years. While I do enjoy both areas of care, I found the time I spent with my cancer client especially rewarding. Being there for her through good times and bad made me feel as if it had true meaning. For us both.
