For 8 years, I took care of my invalid husband. I assisted in the care of my mother and brother who is a stroke patient. They had a full time LPN and I handled her days off. Since my mother recently passed away at 96, There is no need for two aids for my brother. I took care of my mother for 3 years . I have occasionally babysat, and pet sat. Both of which I am happy to do. I have to supplement my survivor's benefits to live. I can work 20 hours a week.
