Hi! I’m Lashuna — a warm, grounded, attentive caregiver who loves helping kids and seniors feel safe, supported, and free to be themselves. My childcare journey has taken me all over the world: teaching in Vietnam, leading camps in Thailand, mentoring middle-school girls with nonprofits in Texas, and caring for a sweet child with autism who visits New Orleans every summer. I naturally bring emotional support, comfort, fun, and a sense of exploration. Kids open up around me. Seniors enjoy my comforting presence and uplifting conversation. I provide structure, engaging activities, and creative opportunities for development. Currently part-time and planned-ahead jobs work best. My availability is flexible (No Monday or Sundays) and usually wraps by 8pm. I can help with homework, meal prep, bedtime routines, mindfulness activities, and accompanying kids or elders on errands or outings.
