Do you have an elderly parent who could use a helping hand? I found myself in this position last year with my 91 year old father. Adding support can reduce the stress for your loved one and you.
I can bake, make lunch, check in and sit on the front porch with your loved one, listen to stories, discuss worries or concerns + explore ways to bring comfort : physical and emotional.
I spent the past year caring for my 91 year old father. He was fiercely independent. When his health declined, my visits reassured him as he navigated simple tasks that were becoming difficult. To listen, encourage, acknowledge grief + find meaning (embrace the joy and sorrow) can make for a peaceful transition.

Maureen was absolutely wonderful with our 2-3 year old, reliable and consistent for a regular sitting position over several months. Our daughter LOVES her, and so do we. We would hire her again in a heartbeat.
Maureen was amazing with our toddler. She was patient and kind and spoke to our daughter like a person. Really and truly, it felt like having a family member watch her instead of a sitter and our daughter had so much fun. I just found one of the stickers Maureen gave our daughter and thought about how much fun they had. I very much recommend Maureen and I wish we could bring her with us to our new home.
