Sandra’s Bio
I’m a full time elementary art teacher during the school year. I’m seeking occasional care companion positions and summer time care companion sitting positions. Perhaps you need someone to play cards (cribbage-I learned so I could play with my dad. I'm still learning!), talk, play a board game, or help assist with meals or just eat dinner with an older family member. I have had CPR training in the past, however my card is expired. I have also had epi pen training for anyone with allergies. I am the youngest of seven and my father is 98 years old. He lives with my brother in NC but I do go down to help care for my dad too. I am putting my profile on here because I realize that, like my family, at times we need an extra person to just help out to give ourselves a break. I am vaccinated for Covid-19

We met Sandie at the beginning of the pandemic through Dumpling, which is a personal shopping app. She was our food shopping angel during Covid and 2 years later not only does she still shop for us, but we have her occasionally babysit our 4 year old who loves Sandie! Flexible, thorough, and just all around a nice person.
Sandra babysat for our three kids who are under 5. They are a bit hard to handle at times but she had no trouble keeping them engaged and happy. We will be having her babysit again!
Sandra took great care of our two cats while we were out of town. She’s very attentive to detail and was prompt in communicating with us. We would definitely use her again!
Sandie was great with our 7mo baby! He seemed comfortable with her right away. She gave him dinner, cleaned up, played with him, and put him to bed. She even invented a new food for him to try - mashed pear and blueberry (I’ll have to try that myself ;D). She also checked in a couple times throughout the evening by text and phone. We will definitely ask her to babysit again!
