With a comprehensive background in healthcare and child welfare, coupled with my education in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience, I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to contribute to the well-being and development of children under my care.

My passion for working with children is deeply rooted in my experience with the American Indian Health and Family Services in Detroit, where I engaged with children from underserved communities. I facilitated programs aimed at promoting healthy living and preventing cycles of substance abuse. These experiences honed my ability to connect with children on multiple levels—educationally, emotionally, and culturally—creating a positive and supportive environment that nurtures their growth.

Additionally, my role as a Personal Care Assistant at Community Alliance involved direct care responsibilities that are pivotal in a personal care or babysitting role. I assisted with daily tasks, medication administration, and provided emotional and physical support to individuals with significant needs. This position sharpened my skills in compassionate care, patience, and understanding, all of which are critical when working with children of all backgrounds and abilities.
