Throughout my wonderful life. I have had the distinct pleasure of working with a brood spectrum of people. Staring in my youth with babies, becoming a Nanny to two pre teen children. And spending years as a care giver to friends and family of all ages, who needed one on one health care. Having been diagnosed with serious or terminal health issues.
I was my severely disabled nephews Advocate, Health Care Proxy and Home Health Aide when needed. The goal was for him to live independently for as long as possible, through his young adult years into his mid thirties with great success. I trained as a Chef in NYC, owned a restaurant and small business on Cape Cod. Taking a Chefs position at Latham Center in Brewster. I was an Activities Assistant in a Elder Independent Living Community. But miss working with youth with special needs and animals always. It is my goal to spend the next years seeking out direct care of youth and young adults with special needs. And the care of a families beloved pets.
