My dad had Alzheimer's and moved in with me for almost a year to give my mom some help. I worked part time and he went to a day program but other than that I was his main caretaker for that time frame. I am a patient person. I am a pretty good cook. My son , who is an adult now, has a nut allergy so I learned to make a lot of things at home that would be safe for him to eat. I have baked a lot of homemade breads and desserts. I can make homemade meatballs, Chicken Marsala, Chicken Parmesan, Chicken Pot Pie and Filet Mignon with a garlic butter sauce to name a few. I am always willing to try to make new things but those are my tried and true recipes. I can do light housework if needed also.
