I've recently quit my corporate job to be a stay-at-home dad for my 6-year-old and 17-month-old boys and it's the best decision I could have made for my family! My wife works outside the home and while I'm home with my boys we take care of our chicken flock, play musical instruments, attend karate class and make dinner together. Already having a set routine with my boys gave me the idea that I could help a local family by caring for their son between the ages of 6-10 after school. My experience includes being a full-time dad and also having been the eldest of my siblings growing up.
