Why I Love Being a Caregiver
Caring for others has always been deeply meaningful to me. I love being able to make a positive difference in someone's life, whether it's by providing comfort, support, or simply being there when they need someone most. Building trusting relationships with those I care for and their families is incredibly rewarding. I take pride in helping others maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life.
My Experience
I have over four years of hands-on experience in the healthcare field. I began my career working in an assisted living facility, where I served as a Medication Technician for two and a half years. In this role, I was responsible for administering medications, monitoring residents, and ensuring their daily needs were met with compassion and attention to detail.
Currently, I work as a Certified Nursing Assistant at a hospital, where I have been employed for the past two years. This role has allowed me to expand my clinical skills while caring for patients with a wide range of needs. I am experienced in providing personal care, assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring vital signs, and supporting patients and their families during challenging times.
