To whom it may concern,
Greetings, my name is Larissa Fiote. I am 22 years of age and live in Malden, Massachusetts. I am an undergraduate Senior at the University of Massachusetts Boston. I have studied Psychology and Philosophy in the Bachelor of Arts with a minor in Anthropology . I will be graduating in May 2018. I have looked into the special needs position and was interested in the roles that are present in the description of this particular job. As of now, I am available anytime for 8 hour shifts and currently do not own a car.
I am hoping to gain more insight into learning and understanding as well as hopefully integrating what I have studied to the degree of my knowledge from my general education and apply them into real-world experiences. These studies have included positive behavioral and social components. I have no personal experience in care companionship or special needs, however this will be my first opportunity and I would love to place my organizational, time management and multitasking skills to the test as well as provide an open and caring nature to the individual who is being served.
