I have worked inpatient psychiatry and community agency for 25 years; we have just moved to Florida to be closer to our daughter. I have held various titles: Teacher, Clinician, Counselor, & Therapist. While maintaining my role inpatient, I simultaneously provided care to an elderly woman with dementia, substitute taught in the Natick Public Schools, and taught English to non-native speakers. When I first moved to Boston, ~ 1980, I worked for Boston Center for Independent Living & have taken care of Geri psych patients from time to time.
I am an LADC1 (Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor 1 from the state of Massachusetts).
I have worked with adults in inpatient facilities as well as children & adolescents.
My experience is broad and I have had many au pair/ babysitting jobs throughout my life.
