Hello,
My name is Doreen,
I am a mother of three grown girls and I also have 3 grandchildren. I am very interested in your job posting. For over 7 years I was licensed from the State of Mass as a home daycare provider in my home and had 5-6 small children under the age of 5. I was certified every year in Adult, children and infant CPR as well as trained on the AED device. I was also a nanny many years ago for two loving girls in Belmont, Mass for two psychologist and I grew up in Arlington, Mass. I am one of 15 children myself, I have 9 sisters and 5 brothers and many nieces and nephews. I have been working and running professional offices for the past decade and I want to get back into doing what I love best, taking care of children and running a household. Doreen started with our family in January 2018 and will be looking after our kids through the first week of June. She has been a fantastic caretaker for them - taking them on daily walks and hikes as well as trips to various library events. She involves both of them in baking projects, and is patient with their insatiable desire to be read books over and over again. I have appreciated the way she calmly handles their disagreements, and her overall style of connecting with the kids.
She is consistently on time, and has been a huge help with small chores around the house.
