I have been working in the Care Companion field for approximately 8 years, caring for Elders in a variety of stages of their life. I have experience working with clients who also have had multiple medical conditions such as Dementia, Feeding Tubes, Bed Ridden, Medication Management, an wheelchair bound amputee, I’ve handled and managed medical care such as arranging Doctors appointments, coordinating medical care with client’s Physcians, accompanying clients when taken or rushed to the hospital and staying with them while emergency care is administered. Coordinating and organizing transportation for clients to attend appointments and such. Handling of Household shopping, cleaning and maintenance of client’s home and surroundings. CPR and First Aid trained including the use of a defibrillator.
