I recently retired from the corporate world and am now doing some parent caretaking. Having done this years ago with my grandmother we have found reliable elder care is still hard to find, particularly with someone that has compassion, understanding and care knowledge for this age group.

I have over 10 years of experience and am looking to share about 8 hours a week with someone looking for companionship and some help with the things that are just too hard to do now.

Elders need more than routine assistance with daily activities of life. I will help them with grocery shopping and meal prep (with food they enjoy), errands, keeping them hydrated and oriented to current events, finding activities they enjoy and are physically able to do, taking them to appointments, talking and playing games, taking walks, laundry and bed changing, tidying up, weekly shampoos, skin care, in home safety, weekly medication set up and so much more.

I enjoy interacting with this age. They have so much knowledge and we have much to learn from them. My goal is to assist so they can remain in their homes and independent, while maintaining a quality of life.
