Kathy only worked with us for a week - I'm sure over a longer acquaintance she would have earned that fifth star. She was good to work with: thoughtful, vigilant, and affectionate. She looked after my two month old in a nanny share with a 6 month old, so she definitely had her hands full, but was unflappable despite all their needs.

Kathy has been taking care of our 2 boys (9 and 3 years old) for 3 weeks now (including pick up from school, help with homework, visits to the nearby parks and museums, etc.). We hired her for one month while our regular nanny was on a leave, and we couldn't be more happy. Our little one is very shy, and doesn't like change and being around new people, so I was a bit nervous at first. Kathy appeared to be very calm and reassuring - "Don't worry, everything will be just fine". And she was right: after just 30 minutes, our little boy had already adopted her. He was all smiles and showing Kathy all his toys!

Kathy knows how to offer both a caring and loving environment, and some necessary structure (if you have boys, I'm sure you know what I mean :-). Most importantly for me, I feel that my children are safe with her, and they both absolutely love her!!

I definitely recommend Kathy to any family looking for an experienced, caring and reliable nanny, and I would be happy to provide further details if needed.
