My Name is Dominique Evans .. iam now a rising senior at Bowie state university. Majoring in social work with a concentration in the elderly feild. My career dream is to make sure that the elderly , the frail and vulnerable are defended to the full extent. For example that they never are treated as less or differently because of there age. People often times count the elderly out becauSe of negative stigmas attaches to them. But to me I have a passion with working with the elderly. I currently woke weekends at a nursing home (future Care Chesapeake ) where iam a activates assistant. Where I complete duties as , transporting residents . Doing excercises , crafts , cooking , manicures , bowling , jukebox jams , and some cleaning with my residents. I’ve worked here for about 2 years and each year just makes me excited to graduate in may 2020 with my msw. It would be a great pleasure to serve as a care companion for you mother in law I hope I can be of assistance.
