I love being a caregiver because it comes naturally to me it's how I was raised. Taking care of my family members has always been a part of my life, and over time, I realized how much I enjoy being there for others. Whether it was helping my grandparents with their daily needs, supporting a sibling after surgery, or simply being someone my loved ones could count on, caregiving gave me a deep sense of purpose. It’s not just about helping it's about making someone feel safe, loved, and respected, like family should.

Most of my experience comes from caring for my own family. I’ve helped my elderly grandmother with things like meal prep, medication, and getting to appointments. I’ve also supported a family member with mobility challenges and took care of younger children in our family, making sure they felt secure and cared for. These experiences taught me how to be patient, dependable, and attentive. Caring for the people I love really showed me how meaningful this work can be.

Through my experience with family, I’ve developed strong caregiving skills like personal care, cooking, medication reminders, and emotional support. I’ve learned how important it is to listen, be gentle, and treat people with dignity just like I would want someone to treat my own family.
