After a family member became paralyzed, I became his primary caregiver while raising my 3 small children. This was when I first realized that I am a caregiver by nature, like my mother. Since then, I have supported individuals with physical, mental, and developmental disabilities with supporting then with acclimating them back into the community after being institutionalized or hospitalized. I support then with their daily living and home upkeep. I transport them to appointments and daily activities. I am also state medtech certified.
