Although most of my experience is with children of young age, I have always been known to have an old soul and a love for conversation with those of older age. My feeling is that they have a lot of wisdom to offer and often time just want company and someone to listen. I remember singing in a nursing home with my dad after church one day and seeing the love and appreciation of the members in the audience as they held our hands, kissed our cheeks, and smiled in appreciation. With tears welling in some of their eyes they thanked us for taking the time to visit them. That made me feel good.
My loved ones and coworkers would consider me to be a relaxed but positive and upbeat individual with a big heart. My understanding is that more times than not, all people need is to be listened to and feel understood. I'm the person for the job.
