I have a great deal of experience working with seniors as a companion and caregiver. I studied Nursing for a couple of years while I was in college, and I have always had an interest in medicine. I have gained a lot of medical knowledge over the years and have been able to put it into practice to help clients. I also took care of my mother when she was on hospice for 21 months. I was her sole caregiver for the last 13 months. I enjoy conversing with seniors, participating in activities that bring them joy, going on walks, taking them to doctors and other appointments, cooking for them, helping with bathing and dressing, etc. When my mother was in an assisted living facility, I often spent time with and assisted the other residents.
