I didn't become a caregiver...I was born a caregiver. It's what I do. It is what I find rewarding. Caregiving of all types. I like to help individuals maintain their independence, help people recover from illnesses and surgery, and in general help people have the best quality of life possible. My caregiving goes beyond just humans. I love to care for animals as well, and enjoy animal rescue. My husband and I gravitate to elderly dogs, sick dogs, and other animals in need such as ducks and chickens. I am available to help with meals, housekeeping, linens, errands, pet care, home management, safety management, medication reminders, and many other things. I grew up in a home with grandmothers who needed assistance and that is where i became aware how much caregivers are needed. I also, prior to leaving the workforce to raise my family, worked for a home health agency staffing hospitals and homes with healthcare professionals. I am first aid and CPR certified. I am honest, hard working, dependable, and compassionate.
