I love being a caregiver because I truly enjoy helping people feel seen, safe, and cared for especially older adults. There’s something so meaningful about building trust, offering companionship, and being there to support someone’s daily needs with patience and respect. Caregiving is more than just a job to me; it’s a way to serve others with love and dignity.
I’m currently a nursing student and have hands-on experience working with seniors as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Certified Medication Technician (CMT) at Enfield Locke Care in Baltimore. In my role, I assist with daily living tasks, medication, mobility, personal care, and emotional support. I’ve also had experience caring for children in different settings, but my current focus is on providing compassionate care for older adults.
I'm CPR and First Aid certified, trained in safety, hygiene, proper lifting techniques, medication administration, and infection control. I’m calm under pressure, a good listener, and always aim to treat each person with kindness and patience. As a future nurse, I take caregiving seriously and bring both skill and heart to everything I do.
