I have provided respite, emotional, and social support to the full-time caregiver as well as emotional and social support (including activities) to the loved one. I also provide light housekeeping and light care-giving.

I have worked with patients dementia/Alzheimer's as well as with patients in hospice. Currently I am volunteering as a friendly visitor and office volunteer at Heartland Hospice. My career goal is to work with families during the grieving process, including before death when possible.

I am currently attending Eastern Michigan University in the evenings to obtain my Master's in Social Work with a concentration in Services to the Aging.
