I am told I am a very cheerful and caring individual. I always put others first. I helped care for all my Grandchildren until they were in their teens and my Great Grandson his first year.

Going backwards:

Just finished working for a home bound women doing her errands and shopping. My fee was $25.00/hr.

I cared for my husbands cousin an elderly female for 3 years after her husband passed. I did everything. Shopping, Dr. Visits, book work, filing, checkbook, some cleaning, laundry, outings, drives in the country. Helped her to redecorate etc. I cared for her for 3 years until her death.

I worked for Senior helpers and had 3 steady jobs with them for a few years then I took care of a wonderful lady with Alzheimer’s for 5 years until her death. I still have contact once in awhile with her husband.

Seems I have been caring for people since my teen years.

I am interested in being a companion to 1 female elderly person who is in need of transportation, shopping, getting out, going to their senior center, a walk in the park, any outings this person would be capable of. I am no longer interested in cleaning or housework. But I am a great companion. I would like a position where this person may need me a few hours 2-3 days per week.
