Light house keeping, helping with meals, and hanging out with those that have given so much in their lives. Our elderly are the back bone of America, and they need a caring person in their lives to laugh with, someone that will help with light house work, and maybe a ride to the farmers market or a doctors appointment. A friendly game of cards or just someone to work on a puzzle with and to talk to. In todays economy, family have to work a lot, and raise their children, so sometimes there is not a lot of time for our elderly loved ones. I can help. After taking care of my dad, the last couple of years of his life, I realized, how much work and my kids took me away from my dad. But I was thankful I had the last couple of years to spend with him. I didn't realize how lonely he was, because he always told me everything was ok. I want to be the one that makes a difference, a friendly face, with laugher and a good listener for those famous stories our elderly have inside. Good with animals too.
