Amy’s Bio
The last 2 years, 2 months I have worked for Luminate Home Care. Sadly, the 99 year old woman I was caring for passed away this month. I’m looking to start caring for someone new, being Luminate has only cases out of Barry County. I live in Ionia.
Before Luminate I worked for ComforCare. I cared for a man with ALS. I used a hoyer lift to help him out of bed every day. I assisted him in toileting assistance and helped him shower and eat. I prepared all of his meals and also household laundry and cleaning.
I have worked for several different families caring for their loved ones. My first job was for a 47 year old paralyzed woman for 1 1/2 years. I then I started caring for an 96 year old farmer on his farm, for almost a year. Sadly, he passed away and I then was hired by a 90 year old woman to care for her 94 year old husband. I also cared for an 84 year old with cancer and have several excellent references.
