I have 3 years of caregiver experience. I’ve worked in a retirement home where I took care of bathing, in bed changing, assisted walking, and assisting eating. I’ve worked with dementia patients and I understand how to help them through the confusion. I’m kind and compassionate, I understand that being unable to do some things by yourself can be frustrating and I take care to make sure they feel heard and understand I’m here to help. I love spending time and having conversations with new people. I have medical experience where I worked with all ages including seniors, I have experience with catheters and colostomy bags and can help manage them if needed. I’m currently a pre-med student close to getting their EMT license. I’m certified in CPR and first Aide, I’m detail oriented and very aware and composed in emergency situations.
