Amanda’s Bio
I have worked in the care field for nine years now and I’ve been CPR and First Aid certified. Five of those years were in the special needs community and four of them were in senior care. I have worked hands on with people needing full assistance with meals and personal care as well as with individuals needing minimal assistance. I have coached individuals in life skills in order to promote independence, I have done in-home health care and I also have experience with end of life. My last three years have involved doing activities in a memory care home. I’ve been described as warm, friendly, and caring. I’ve been told that I have a positive demeanor, that I’m a good listener, and that I treat those in my care as if they are my own family. I have an ability to form connections with nearly anyone, even those who have been described as challenging. I currently travel and play music for individuals in a variety of settings in the care field.
